MBS students attend a forty-minute 1:1 tutorial with a remedial language specialist every day.  The Tutorial Program provides students with the opportunity to work with a tutor to remediate areas of language deficits and to work on their individualized remedial programs. The focus and subject matter of the tutorial can change throughout the school year as students make progress and demonstrate academic growth.

Language Skills Lab

In addition to the 1:1 tutorial, students attend a daily Language Skills Lab.  The Language Skills Lab is a thirty-minute period where students work on individualized tutorial assignments designed to reinforce areas of remediation emphasized within the tutorial setting. Students work to further develop their language skills, improve automaticity, and build upon their level of mastery.
