Residential Life
Middlebridge School’s residential program teaches and reinforces social, emotional, and independent living skills.  We recognize that for our students, the learning process continues after the academic day. Our students participate in rotating elective classes, individual and group dorm curriculum, and community events.

The MBS residential program is composed of a full time staff trained to work with our students within the residential setting.  Staff works closely with our students to form positive relationships and provide guidance and instruction in the development of independent life skills.

Electives Program

Middlebridge School provides a diverse elective program where each student is encouraged to explore areas of interest, talent, and passion. Students participate in elective programs Monday through Thursday from 4:15pm-5: 30pm.  The MBS Elective Program is individualized and allows students the opportunity to participate in classes offered on campus as well as activities located off campus in the local South County community. “We spent the first 16 years of our daughter’s life in a desperate but unsuccessful search for educators who “get it”. We finally found Middlebridge School, who “get” that the entire child,   not just his or her learning differences, must be addressed.  They have saved our daughter’s life. Every staff member has an uncanny ability to relate to the kids with humor and compassion.”
