Prior to a formal interview, a candidate must provide a comprehensive psychological assessment which includes cognitive testing results (e.g. WISC-IV index and subtest scores), current educational plans, transcripts and report cards, as well as any evaluations that provide information or insight into the student’s level of functioning, as well as academic and social/emotional strengths and weaknesses. The Admissions Department will contact families to discuss appropriate candidacy.
During a formal interview, candidates will participate in evaluations that assess academic achievement, social skills, and independent living skills to determine appropriate candidacy.
